View Full Version : No bilinear filtering when playing back with DIVX5

So I have the folloving problem: I want to play back stuff with divx5, and it seems fine til' the moment I put it to fullscreen.
Because when I do it only blurs horizontally (linear) so I get disgusting horizontal lines visible in the movie.
If I play back with divx3 it blurs beautifully in full screen. But I need divx5 to play back divx5 stuff so I don't know what to do.
I already tried playing with ffdshow but it does the same thing. New video drivers won't help either.

my system:
win XP
cel-850 cpu
tnt2-ultra with 23.11 drivers

did you FORCE FILM or IVTC? read the doom9 DivX 5 guide and encode with that.

I don't want to encode, I want to play back. It's the same with every video I download.

Have you tried using the YUY2 output option in the Divx 5.02 decoder?

Another things you could try: set the monitor color depth to 32bit (if not already...)
