Putting 2 AVI files together to 1 file?

Is there any way join 2 AVI movie files together to 1 file wihtout having to re-encode the whole thing?

Open the first part in Nandub, go to File->Append and select the second avi. Now go to the menu Video and select direct stream copy. Save this under a new name with File->Save AVI.

voila. one big file :)

(I used Nandub, because VDub will complain if you've got VBR MP3 in those AVI's)
