Every movie I encode, and watch later in virtualdub, has yellow pixels on the very left. I use koepi's latest version XviD-04082002-1.exe.
Open your movie in virtualdub and zoom in to 4x the original size. Then go to some bright scene cause it is easier to see there.
If this isn't the case with your encodes - strange - it happened to doom9' encodes as well, look at http://www.doom9.org/codec3-2.htm , second scene, xvid piccie. It isn't quite fair on his pic though, since it is jpeg compressed which results in much more yellow pixels on the left. And NO koepi, it is not my or doom9's screenshot proggie ;)
To show the real effect, I will add an attachment. Zoom in on the left and watch the beautiful yellow pixel - normal pixel - yellow pixel - norml pixel - yellow pixel pattern.
