i got a 610mb avi clip.. and it is encoded in 5.0 already, but i want i to be in 3.11 because then i can use it in vegas-video.
But how do i make it the same size "610" but in 3.11?

Like any normal encode. Calculate the bitrate needed for 610MB with the movie's length, open it in Nandub, enter the bitrate and encode (2-pass mode). Just follow the Nandub/3.11 guide.

hmmz... i don't really know what the bitrate is.. but i open the 610mb file in nandub and selected final size 610.. then i get 1776 bitrate.. is that the bitrate i should use?

It's a good start, if it comes out too big/small you can always adjust.

Hi-
I just checked GKnot for you. It gives a bitrate like you said for a video of 46 minutes and 45 seconds and 610 MB (sound not included-adjust downward depending on the audio bitrate and overhead).

when i did 2pass with 1776 bitrate it became 396mb..
hmm and there was som strange bad pixel error in the beginning =(

it seems that the final size in nandub isnt that good..
because when i select final size 610mb then it become 380mb
=[
