It plays to fast

I encoded a movie twice with Gordian Knot (once with DivX 4.12 and once with DivX 5.02) and it the both times, when I played the movie in WMP (and in other players too) it ran twice as fast as it should. What can I do ? In the both encodings, I used the AC3 demuxed by SmartRipper but I used the D2V made by DVD2AVI.

Okay, I made other tests and it shows up that it plays too fast only if I use MP3 files (with AC3 it's OK)

If your mp3 have less than 96 Kbps it will play faster. That's it.

Tou mean tat I must use a file that is 96 Kbps or more to have a normal playing movie ?

It should be 44.1kHz or 48kHz, but LAME downsamples to 32kHz or 22.1kHz when using bitrates lower than 96kHz.

You can use Lame's resample command to keep the frequency at 44.1 or 48kHz.
