I have a DVD to rip. I was told that there 2 ifo and i must rip each seperately. I don't know how to find the ifo's and change from one to the other. The name of the DVD is 'The Bridge Over The River KWAI' It must be because of the length of it. Never ran into this before. Would appreciate help. Thanks Jim

You will have to process each IFO separately. Simply select the first one in the conversion tab of DVD2SVCD and when it's finished, move on to the second.

Do you mean rip one ifo then look for the other ifo? cause in conversion I can only find one of them. it is 52 min long and i know that it is a 3hr(approx) movie. thank you

It's curious that you can't see both IFOs, as far as I know, DVDs that have 2 IFOs have them in the same folder and are both visible. Perhaps yours is unique, so look around. Have you tried using vStrip to locate and rip the IFOs/VOBs?

Thanks for the info. I'm pretty new at this and really don't know what vstrip is, but willing to try anything if i sort of know what i'm doing. again thanks Jim

DVD2SVCD internal ripping routines should be used as first priority, but when trouble brews, vStrip may be able to help. If vStrip doesn't work, however, it's unlikely that anything will. Only on rare occasions have other rippers (i.e. SmartRipper) been able to do the job when vStrip can't, but SmartRipper is known to cause audio sync problems so it isn't suggested. In any case, you should try these and if none of them work, just move on, since you aren't the only one with trouble on this DVD, it may just be that the title is a bit strange like that.
