Damn these subtitles!

I can't get my subtitles to work! I know that they are there but I just can't get them on the screen! If I just take the mpg-file and create a SVCD with the help of NERO the subtitles appears. But then on the other hand I don't get any chapters. When I burn the CD-image everything is perfect except the subtitles. Why??? Anybody knows?

I use CDRWin 3.8G to burn the images. Should I use something else?

If it's any use I'm posting my log-file...

Best way we know of to burn cue/bin files is load the cue image in deamon tools, then open up nero and select "cd copy" and burn it that way. Also have you checked on vcdhelp.com and seen if your dvd player supports subtitles?

I know my player is supporting subtitles because if I burn the mpg-file with Nero the appear... I did not quite understand what you ment with opening the cue/bin file... I can't open cue/bin-files in Nero. That's my problem! Perhaps I'm doing something wrong? It wouldn't be the first time :D

If you use the Swedish version of Nero you should use "arkiv-bränn image" and then choose your *.cue file. In English version of Nero it is "File- burn image".

Ok, thanks! I will try Daemon Tools. Now I have tried burning with Nero, CDRWin and Fireburner and still I can't get the subs to appear. I know that they are there because when I burn only the mpg-file with Nero as a SVCD the appear!!!

I Daemon Tools don't work I think I give up this one...

It's working!!! Stupid me, I never thought of trying CVD-subtitles! That was the thing for me. Now, finally, I can sleep well again...
