remove logos

Hi together!

Can someone tell me how ro remove logos from videos?
I have captured some music videos by myself from MTV and want to
remove the "upper left located" MTV sign.

Also have some downloaded vids with ugly sign by maybe the one who made it. Want to delete them also!

Is there a software which can do this for me?

Try VirtualDub in conjunction with the DeLogo filter.

with the downloaded vids, I'd not try to delogo them because you need to re-compress them - the result will be without a logo, but the overall quality will be much worse.

I already have re-encoded some downloaded vids.
Making DivX from MPeg source, to have one format for all
my videos. Up to now i saw just very small differences
between the resulting AVI and the source Mpeg.
The quality isn't that good like the original but not that
worse for me.
