When playing any DVD that I have authorised, I never have the time diplay on my standalone DVD player. All that is displayed is PLAY.
Any ideas on why this is happening. Yes I have read all the posts and although it has been mentioned by a few others, no answer has been given to this problem..
Thanks....

It might help if you let people know the model of your standalone player.

If you are using "not-so-highend" software like dvdit and you have more than 1 video clip, then your time display will be sacrificed.
So, what DVD Authoring Program are you using?

Hi,
You author with Maestro ?
Turn OFF the NEXT / PREVIOUS connections in the Connections Table use ONLY Standard Connections like END ACTION, that's it. You don't need NEXT / PRVIOUS.

It was only because I was using DVDitPE. When using Maestro all is working fine. Thanks to all for your input....

Well done, perhaps this is a case of if it's not "this" or "that" it must be the other !!
