Copying bonus features

Ive been trying to copy some bonus features.Ive got the best of Adam Sandler and I ripped a bonus feature with smartripper.It was the interview with Conan,it looks good when there sitting still but when they move you get a tracer effect.Even the rest of the dvd doesnt look great.I also tried to rip the skit with Ben Stiller and Tom Cruise on MI2 but I also got the tracer effect.Movies look perfect but not the bonus features. Any help

I dont know what is causong the weird effect that you are talking about. What I wouold try to do is rip the extras using something else then Smartripper. This ripper has been known to cause some issues with D2S.

The reason you get that "effect" is most likely because of interlacing. Try running the feature through SmartDeinterlace, or doing IVTC on it. Also keep in mind that many of the bonus features are 4:3, not 16:9. :)

We need an automated DVD bonus creator also :D

If, in fact, your problem is interlacing, you'd be better off doing Telecide. Smart Deinterlace is best for only minor noticeable interlacing, but as you describe it, you're having some pretty bad output, and Telecide should help.

I changed it to smartdeinterlace and it looks perfect now.It does take a little bit longer,ang it gives it borders like it scrunches it a little bit.Looks good ,Thanks for the help.
