SSRC vs Wavelab

I have a load of 44.1Khz WAV files taken off CD that I want to convert to 48KHz ready for DVD authoring. Any thoughts on whether I would be better to resample using Wavelab 4.0 or SSRC?

Also I intend to metanormalise the files in Wavelab. Should I do this before or after the frequency resample?

There is no quality difference between SSRC and WaveLab, but WaveLab is a lot faster.

It doesn't make a difference to downsample before or after normalising.
