Hi folks,

Ok, ive been doing svcds from dvd foir a while now but no matter what i try i still have sync problems. I have done the resync <0 nthing and also tried it at 0 and 1 - ive done single pass vbr, cbr and multiple but all to no avail, my sound is still about half a sec away from the video track.

ps, ive read the faq 6 times now!

any help would be appreciated

Did u really read the FAQ 6 times?

Read one more time and pay attention to Q24. Then post how u did it.

Yeah,

and you didn't tell us where they're out of sync - on your PC playing with PowerDVD/WinDVD or on your TV/DVD palyer combo or where?

And the brand and model of your DVD standalone might help too, as for example some players are known for having audio sync issues like the Toshiba SD-210/220 models for example.

Also if you ripped the DVDs with anything but the internal routines or Vstrip then there is a chance that you will have synch issues with your movies.

You might also try a search of all forums for "Kate Leopold" for an excellent description of how to handle multiangle movies as those can be troublesome. (in another forum)
Personally, I use a sync value of 2 and have only had problems with that particular title.
