has anyone experienced this problem before??
when i try to do an AVI2SVCD with NTSC->PAL ticked in the conversion box after audio exctraction and madplay when besweet is about to start up besweet crashes so it wont make an mp2 file.
Instead what I have been doing to solve the issue is unticking NTSC->PAL check box and ticking it after besweet has finished just before any mpeg video files could be made.
curious huh...

actually in an embarressed way that kind of failed coz the whole thing is encoded in ntsc which my dvd player has a problem with well no not my player my tv which is a cheap australian tv (because i am from australia) and only plays PAL. so I'm currently redoing it and letting besweet crash and then just placing the mp2 file in from the last encoding job which was in ntsc. fingers crossed.
anyways just curious if there was a way to do this with just making a few changes instead?? or maybe its a bug that needs to be fixed in the next revision? after reading some of the posts about rude ppl in the forum i hope this isnt being rude towards the author or any one in here.

hey pepsi.. if your reffering to the divx 4 problem with that program gordon knot which you were having (sorry its the only thread i found on the issue) i have already tried uninstalling all my divx codecs. The only time i experience this problem is when i tick that box to convert the format from ntsc to pal. I'm not sure that the divx codec would affect that though i could be wrong. though yeah when i uninstalled the divx codec even though the file couldnt be decompressed, it acted like an empty file and started going through the motions as normal.. but naturally alot faster as it can decompress the files, and at the besweetstage i still get the error with besweet crashing.
umm if you were referring to another thread I would appreciate an addy for it as I cant seem to find it. sorry. and thanks for the help.

Search for Besweet and be sure to select only "DVD2SVCD Basic" forum. Then on page 3 u'll find this thread started by me:
