I'm trying to cut an AC3 file into three parts with BeSplit.
Here's the command I used:
Besplit -core( -input fight.ac3 -prefix c:\track -type ac3 -a -logfilea besplit.txt ) -split( 0 3111 6232 8002 )
The first file it makes, track01.ac3 plays perfect in Windows Media Player 6.4.
track02.ac3 doesn't play in WMP, although it's recognised as an AC3 file.
track03.ac3 is not recognised as AC3, and WMP tries to download an "appropraite decompressor".

Oops. I didn't know I was using an old version.
BTW, why does http://dspguru.notrace.dk and dspguru.doom9.net open the DVD2SVCD homepage?
I'll try it with a new version once I find a link to download.

I tried with 0.8
They all play OK in PowerDVD. Same problem in Media Player, this time I let it download a decompressor for track03.ac3. It said it was downloading the Fraunhofer MP3 codec, and when it had finished, the file played as normal.
I'll just try muxing the AC3s anyway (eventually I want 3 OGM's with AC3 sound), and I'll get back to you.
I had to open your site in Mozilla BTW I was still getting DVD2SVCD in IE.
