Hi!
For some reason I have quite recently countered a strange problem with a disc created with IfoEdit and Rempeg. In the beginning of a certain chapter, the movie starts "pumping". Obviously Rempeg has missed some frames etc, which causes the phenomenon. Usually the phenomenon lasts about 5 minutes and after that the movie is normal. That is a reason why I have chosen to use only TMPGEnc from now on. The only problem is that it would be much simpler to use Rempeg for the job. I have read here about not selecting certain VobID:s, but that is not the problem here: the movie can consist of a single VobID and still the phenomenon occurs with Rempeg. No troubles whatsoever with TMPGEnc (well, sometimes the audio is not in sync with the video in Maestro though - I have read the answers given at forum for the unsync, but I am hoping someone would write a guide for such issues as well). Anyway, have you encountered this and found a solution for avoiding it?
Then one time with Maestro after compiling a VIDEO_TS -folder it gave a message stating that a buffer underflow had occured for exceeding the max bitrate. I even TMPGEnc the whole picture with the result that Maestro still complained the same way. Question: is it worth to burn on disc such VIDEO_TS -folder, making of which has presented this error-message in Maestro? I.e. will the movie work ok even though the warning?
Thank you for any info,
