I happened to have a phillips CD-i movie disc(title: Adams's family) which i got free when i brought my mpeg decoder-card about 5 years ago. I don't have the mpeg-card anyway. How do i playback the Cd-i disc? Are there any software players to do that?

I don't know if your CDRom can access the tracks, but the video on CD-I is mpeg1, 384x288.

Some more infos here: http://www.icdia.org/faq/cdifaq6.html

*Edit: just saw the site provides a link for a CD-I filesystem driver for Windows: http://www.icdia.org/sw_pc/index.html

Doesn't work on NT/2000/XP, but you can extract the CD-I in Win98/ME and save the movie as mpg.
