If I burn a DVD-R with just the DTS stream, will it play on my DVD standalone (with a DTS decoder), or will it break the DVD standard and refuse to play.

So far, I've transcoded the video to a new m2v and stream processed the DTS file off the DVD, using Smartripper.
I intend to author in Maestro.

Obviously, I could try it out but I thought I'd ask you guys b4 I made a coaster (or not).

TIA.

While it would not be acceptable for a commercial release, using just DTS does not do anything that a DTS equiped player should object to.

Thx for your reply.
I'll give it a try - it's for personal use only so don't care if there is no 5.1/2.0 track.
