I have an .ssa file I converted to .son using MaestroSBT. When attempting to load the subtitle file into maestro I get the following error

"No corresponding subtitles found! The video asset timecode may not correspond to the timecode specified for the subtitles in the import file"

Here is the header of my .son file, is something amiss with it?

Have you imported the movie first and put it on the timeline in maestro?

However get the new Subrip as it can export subtitles directly to Maestro format now a days. For me it only takes 2 minutes to get the subtitles from the .vob files with subrip. Going the OCR way takes ages...

Yeah I've already added the video and audio files to the timeline. I only have the original subtitle information available in .ssa because I mastered the subtitles myself using sub station. I kind of think the conversion program just isn't generating a valid .son file.

Your problem might be because the time under the wall clock is NOT all ZEROS. Change it to all ZEROS and see if it will import properly.
