Im not sure if this is an IFOEdit question or not, but it's definetly an authoring thing. IFOEdit showed that Titles 1 and 6 played (BTW, when it started the only menu it went to was the 'standard or widescreen selection menu', it never went to a main menu, is this wrong or sometimes normal?). So then I look in IFOEdit for Titles 1 and 6, and it tells that Title 1 = vts_02 set and Title 6 = vts_01 set. So what does this mean?
When I did this movie the first time, I renamed my newly authored vobs (from Maestro) to vts_01, used IFOUpdate, did the Correct VTS sectors, and then finally went into the video_ts.ifo file. In there, I clicked on VMGM_MAT, then the + next to it showed me First Play PGC. I was told to scroll down to the PGC Command Table and then to '1. Pre Command'. I changed the command to '(Jump_SS_VTSM) Jump to Titleset Menu', then choose Title Nr. = 1, Titleset Nr. = 1, and Menu = root. (I was told this would make the DVD go to the main menu upon it first starting, which is what I want.)
Now, when I play this in my Apex, it does just that. Goes right to the menu. But when I play it in my Sony, nothing, I get an error. Is there something in telling the DVD to playing something else before the Pre Command mentioned above in IFOEdit?
Knowing what I want to do (main menu, main movie, only 1 audio stream and DVD to go right to the main menu when starting), how can I do this? Thanks.
