I've made an .ass file for my fansub, it's full of newer effects like karaoke, zooming, scrolling etc..
I've displayed it in the virtualdub preview loading it with the textsub plugin and in the preview all is ok, all the effects are showed correctly and is very cool.
later, i've encoded all and in the avi output file all the effects are wrong, imean that karaoke filling effect isn't more a filling effect but highlight half line a time, the scrolling timing are totally wrong and any other effect.
I've though is because i've encoded with sbc, i've made the same with the divx5.02 codec and the results are wrong again.

What do you think abuot, may it be a textsub big bug? it's strange because the preview is ok and the output after encoding is totally wrong.
Help me (gabest?):)

Did you moved or modified the subtitle file while encoding?

So strange, i've turned on the pc and the problem is still here, i've moved the nandub directory to another one and the problem was disappeared even with virtualdub, winzozz stile!
Ok, false alarm, it's bill that makes joke of me *argh*

by the way, do you know if are there dedicated utilities (script editor) for the .ass format or if is someone working on it? (i would like to give him a hand ^_^ )

Thanks and bye!

No, I don't know about any. Somebody told me in email that he was working on a simple point&click editor to create drawn shapes more easily, but I've never heard of him again.
