View Full Version : wma audio not playing - reinstalling codec doesn't help

i got quite a lot files where i don't hear sound lately.
i uninstalled all audio codecs (not the best idea i suppose, but i had problems elsewhere)

* i installed the correct version of the WMA codecs accorting to the info i can get out of the .avi, and tried to install al WMA codecs i could find

* files are definitely ok, checked them at another PC they just work fine there

any suggestions ?

install DivX 3.11

will try as soon as i'm home, but i doubt it will help ...
installed nimo 5.0 build 7 already and didn't help :(

i fear my registry is messed up

got it fixed as follows:

* uninstalling all DivX stuff
* installing DivX 3.11
* installing Nimo 5.0 build 7 for everything else
