i'm missing an audio codec

when i open the .avi in virtualdub and go to file info:

it says the compression is "unknown (tag 0073)"

does anyone know which codec this is???? i really need to know.

hey jackass i didn't reply to my own post 5 minutes later. i saw that my post got about 60 views and it got pushed back a whole page with no replies so excuse me if i'd like to get my question answered.

I don't care if you insult me, but clearly you did not read the forum rules (http://forum.doom9.org/forum-rules.htm); I did not mean that you answered to yourself 5 minutes or 60 views later, this is what I only tried to remind you: "after your initial post you reply to your own post writing something like "Why is nobody helping me? The thing is(quoting the rules):

That is probably why someone has not answered that question, because or it "has already been answered" or people are just too tired of newbies not willing to search before; 5 minutes or 5 days aside.
