Hi everyone, this is my first post, i have been reading through this forum for weeks now and it has been a valuable tool i would like to thank everyone involved in making this the greatest forum of its kind.
As you know burning DVD's can be a really big headache and my head is really killing me,
i have wasted about 15 disks upto now but things are improving, i dont have a stand alone player yet (one on order) to test my disks so i just use the PS2, i have been burning DVD-9 to DVD-5 using DVD decrypter, Prassi primo and ifoedit, i have had success in the fact that the PS2 is reconising the disks but the film is'nt watchable due to the stopping and jumping and there is pixelation when this happens.
The film is Titanic which i burned onto two disks loads up great menu comes up there is 14 chapters on the first disk and 16 on the second
it crashes at chapter 7 on both disk "cannot read disk".
Is this because my media is cheap or is there another problem, any help would be a bonus.

The media i have been using is bulkpaq as they are the cheapest and also Datasafe generation 3.
I am using a Pioneer 104
Windows XP pro
400mhz pentium 2
382mb ram
120gb hhd

My problem seems to point to the media as, i play the burned cd through PowerDvd4 i have the problem with the motion not as bad as on the PS2, get worse towards the last chapters it will only play to chapter 14 out of 16 then seems to crash sometimes i get the message clean your disk or maybe scratched or something like that.
When i play disk one or disk two from the hard drive it plays fine, and plays ok so ifoEdit seems to have worked ok.
