I have a Divx encoded movie with subtitles in a .sub file. Is there a way to encode the AVI DivX file to SVCD with the subtitles?

Try convert subtitle file to SSA format, then use VirtualDub + Subtitler.VDF plug-in and start FrameServer. Then open VDR file in TMPGEnc and create SVCD MPEG-2 with permanent subtitles. Way to create non-permanent subtitles is very difficult...
