View Full Version : dvd Maestro BIG problem !

I have authored a dvd entirely & try on standalone player (pioneer dv626d).
On this ,i have 2 bonus litle movies.
The 2 bonus has 2 chapters (one at the start & one at the end)
when i push NEXT button on remote on the first bonus & after the second chapter,the dvd come back to screen bonus menu (a still screen)
but on pc powerdvd this action( next buton) don't work--->that's i want !
On the second bonus ,when i push next button on remote & after second
chapter,it come back on the first menu general on DVD !!!!
but on pc it is the same that first bonus !

on dvd maestro i have forbid these actions it works perfectly on simulation & on VIDEO_TS on hard disk !!

What is the hell ??? & what's happen ?
a bug of program ,because i am sure that i made all good on dvd project...

a bug of program ,because i am sure that i made all good on dvd project...

to disable buttons from user:

right click on Movie->Properties.

on movie properties : next program isn't disable because after i haven't possibility to next chapter ??
Isn't it ?? or is it a mistake of me ?

little bit of broken english there, but i think you're trying to say that you shouldnt have to disable next program cause there is no chapter for it to move along to

well, standalones are very different on this, some will go to the next vts, others nothing, and others still act the end action or menu key connections for that chapter, so its a bit of a standards mess.

PS, just saw the 'compatibility' option, try that, 'Disable Last Chapter Skip'

I am having a similar problem.

My issue is a bit more simple.

When I get to the end of my movie, if I hit the next chapter, it starts the whole dvd over.

I have checked the "Disable Chapter Skip - First Chapter and Last Chapter" are checked, and it still just skips right over.
