I'm running Windows ME, and when i try to open DVD Maestro, it says "a required .DLL file, MFC42U.DLL, was not found."
I've downloaded the DLL from places and put it in the folder, but still have no luck. How can i open it ????

Maestro will *ONLY* (and please believe me there are NO workarounds for this) work under the following Operating Systems:
WinNT (SP4+)
Win2K
WinXP
it will NEVER work under:
Win95
Win98
Win98SE
WinME
It really is a case of having to upgrade your OS if you wanna use it, I'm afraid.
Sorry to rain on your parade, but hey- look on the bright side - you'll be gaining greater stability and marginally faster MPEG encoding performance!!

I thought so...... because i downloaded that .DLL from Kazaa and when i tried to open up Maestro, it gave me an error saying it was built for NT systems or something, and win 2k is based on NT technology.
(and Maestro works on my Win 2000 laptop)
I was hoping there was something i could've done. Oh well... I like Win 2000 better anyways, so i guess now i got a reason to update.
thanks anyways.
