Hi.
I did lots of subs (i am french but like original versions, but I need sometimes subs english to understand really. even french sub or french audio sometimes to understan . Lol)

Well, I get some import error with a bad BMP encoding of about 20 subs in (Artificial Intelligence) which cause an error when compiling the project. As I did not notice the import error I was stuck a while in the compile error...

It seems some BMP were encoded quite badly, and cannot event be opened by Photoshop.

I redo the sub generation process from SBTMAestro and nothing changed.

So I find a workaround by generating TIF sub images from SBTmasestro, which were all correctly imported into Scenarist.

So, just a post with the question and the answer that can perhaps helps others. I think I will do Tif export only now

By the way if someone know why, i am interrested.

what if you keep the bmps from subrip?

The way I use Subrip, it produce a txt file, no bmp.
I copy paste that into a ssa file after Word processing for OCR mistakes.
Then use Maestro SBT for BMP generation
Is there any other way, faster and/or easier ?

Ughhh. Seems I did not see the maestro direct export feature from the 1.021 version !

Stupid I am, all this time lost with subs....
