I downloaded Resident Evil DivX and Russian and Hebrew subtitles from divxsubtitles.net. Both file are SRT. Whem I play the movie (WMP6.4)
Hebrew SRT is opened, but not the Russian one. Any ideas why ?

whats the name of the Russian file.. Also if you have it load the first sub and go to DVobSub config properties and click the open button can you get it to load and display the subs that method?

The movie is Resident.Evil.(2002).ViTE.ShareReactor.avi and the subtitles are Resident.Evil.(2002).ViTE.ShareReactor.Hebrew.srt and Resident.Evil.(2002).ViTE.ShareReactor.Russian.srt. And no. I can't load Russian subs after it's open.

Hum then it seems like DVobSub isn't being able to properly read the srt file.. can you also open in within SubResync? or open it with SubRip and see if you can resave it and maybe put it in the proper format or something.. Not really sure what else to try..

Try to open the russian srt using Notepad (.srt is just text). Sometimes the files are 'just' not correct, that is the 'line-index' starts with a space, <sp>1 - timecode instead of just 1 - timecode.
At least try to compare the 2 files and try to find any differences.
Good luck.

Been there, done that :)
No luck. So I uninstalled DVobSub and used BSPlayer's internal subtitles support.
