Hi, firstly just like to say a big thank you to doom9 for his excellent guides.

I have a few questions. I've been studying a few dvd's using decrypter to try and understand how they are put together. I've understood most of them, but I've come across one that I don't understand how to replicate.

The movie is Enemy at the Gates (pal). This movie has 18 pgc's in the first title set, which is fine, but the first 2 pgc's are identical (the movie). I presume this is something to do with the 2 cells in the 1st and 2nd pgc's????. They cannot be 2 pgc's of that size as they would be too large to fit onto dvd. My question, how would it be possible to replicate this disc within scenarist?

Does anyone know of any easy way to view the pgc's within a dvd without demuxing them. This would make life much simpler. I could then see more easily as to how the dvd was put together. All I have to go on at the moment is the extras on the back of the box, and the length of the pgc.

Thanks

Glen.

I use IfoEdit v0.91 for that:
Load the movie's IFO file, select the PGC you want to check, press the "Preview" button. (just stills but you'll see what's in...)

and I thought my swordfish guide was not necessary.. guess it still is. Basically it works like that (in Scenarist): You have your tracks that you created in the track editor, add audio channels, subtitles and chapters, then you associate these tracks to PGCs in the scenario editor. IF two PGCs are identical (that happens more than you may think.. makes you wonder what authoring programs are being used;) what you do is the following: you create the track for that PGC, then you create 2 empty PGCs in the scenario editor, and add the same track to both PGCs. In the VOBs, the whole thing is added only once.. you'll see that both PGCs link to the same VOB and Cell IDs (same goes for the original DVD btw)
