Live in the UK. Running XP + Athlon 2000. Using DVD2SVCD to rip (normally)
Problem: Region 1 NTSC disk "The Time Machine" It wont rip properly! ?? Tried various ways and various rippers alongside DVD2SVCD. The file that I ended up with after days plays fine on my PC Audion sync fine Video Smooth etc (converted to PAL)
Well I could not burn the film to CD because of a problem with XP and CDraoe. So I converted it back to DVD with ULEAD DVD workshop. The movie judders and the sound is out of sync. Got it to start off okay but as soon as the frames jerk thats it.
Heres an interesting thing. When you try playing back the files directly from the disk WMP lets you but with a juddey picture and some high pitched sound.
Just burnt the Mummy 2 with no problems, so I know all the programs are okay.
Has anyone else came across this? If so did they get over it? Or just any suggestions?
(I know simple record to VCR and recapture but thats not decent quality is it?) Thanks in advance John
