That was the question.

I didn't know wavelab.
What is the official site?

Cooledit can't.

I can't save neither in mp3 nor wav with 48kHz.

If you are capable, then you could tell me...:(

wavelab: http://www.steinberg.net/ (have you thought about it to do a small search with google.com? ;))

CoolEdit can definitely save to 48KHz wav or mp3 or whatever you want, but may be you have the shareware version which has limited functionality?!

Well, Cooledit could do it, normally.

I opened the wave from V-dub in Cooledit.
I added a wave (in fact they are both mp3, but in ACM waveform) from the same movie - so they are identical in their characteristics - and tried to save them again.
ACM waveform: MP3, 159bitrate and 20kHz (even if the avi properties name it as 48kHz - as it should be).
It asks to change it to 48kHz, 16-bit stereo. I think it is originally like this, but anyway. I say yes.
Then it asks to change it to 4-bit stereo. Then again, it says, there are still problems in saving and anyway, the soundclip has become terrible.

Are you still there?

Any ideas? And I think I know Cooledit pretty well - and it's not a demo...
I don't know.

Your MP3s are not normal, you have to fix them first.
I think BeSplit can do this.
