Just a couple of days ago my pc has (all of a sudden) advised that my graphics card is unable to view in yuv mode. When using bsplayer it switches automatically to rgb mode, zoomplayer tends to ignore problem and result is a blank screen during playback. The video samples are either avi or ogm encoded in xvid.
Problem messages seems to indicate that the hardware rather than the software is at fault.....
I have installed and updated the video driver but problem remains. One thing I have done recently but I did not think at the time that it caused any problems was a problem was to install the latest DirectX8.1.
I have uninstalled graphics card and let my windows 2k re-install but still the same problem.
Can anyone shed some light on my problems and provide some guidance on what I can try next?
