dvd idle......region free without firmware change

just found this site
seems to work
load up dvd idle and i can play any region dvd in my
pc player with a rpc2 drive. No need to change anything
removes macrovision at same time and allows me to step
past all the silly 'must watch' screens

Only 1 problem. It was jerky playing unless i disabled
the cache it tries to use.

Seems like a great piece of software!
Has anyone else tried this??????
