can i work with Studio 7 with any firewire??

I have a Sony digital camcorder(D8) and I have Studio 7.04 build 25
I need to buy a firewire card and i have some probs i dont know which to buy ??
Pinnacle Studio DV PLUS 279$- this dard come with Studio 7
Pinnacle Studio DV CLIP 150$- this dard come with Studio 7
Adaptec AFW 4300 80$-this dard come with MGI VideoWave® 4 SE
OEM FireWire x2 PCI 35$-this dard come with dv studio

do u know if Studio 7 will work with any firewire card???
because if it can work with any firewire card i will buy th OEM!!

I'd rather say yes, you can use any Firewire card. I can't see a reason why you should need a special brand. They're all the same, the main differences are price and no. of firewire ports.

yes it works with any card.. i use it with my dv action card.. and it works fine :)

I think the magic words are "OHCI Compliant." Any Firewire card that says it is will work with S7.
