Hi peeps,
I have used Smartripper to demux the video and audio track from the dvd.
When I create a DVD2AVI project using the M2V file and encode it with tmpgenc I end up getting a file which seems very stuttery (hope you understand). You can see the stutters during the encode process.
Now if I load the M2V file straight into Tmpgenc the picture looks perfect. The only problem is when it gets to 5% it slows down so much it took a whole night to get from 5% to 8%.
I'm doing a two pass encode with Max at 9000, Min at 0 and avg at 5000. Only about 90% less average than the original.
Has anyone got any ideas why its taking so long?
