There is a test version of a Spanish forum at http://foro.doom9.com.ar/.
I have received an offer to have it hosted, but right now it is in my computer, so it maybe off line sometimes.
Please, test it and let me know if it works correctly or it has bugs.
Thanks

Right now, your link only leads to the Spanish Doom9 site for me... perhaps the forum is down at the moment?

Yes, it is set to do so when my computer is not on line.

Anyway, it is just a test forum to see if everything was all right. And all user who registered in it and post messages will be deleted when the final forum is ready (the guy that ofered to host it wants to do it himself and donīt want even to upload the dbase I have at home, he says that he does so for security reasons... but I am not shure if anybody can harm his server by uploading a mySql dbase to a phpBB2 forum). Is his server, I have to accept that, it is free :D

See you

phpBB2 forum

is this the same as the German forum?
I don't know too much about the details since the hoster of the German forum, "Psydon", also controls all the server details ...

and another hint: a forum also costs a lot of work ;)

my support for the translations nearly vanished... :(
everyone just enters the forum now, I guess.

is this the same as the German forum? Yes, yes it is. You were the one who recomended it to me, remember?

and another hint: a forum also costs a lot of work I will do my best and hope everyone do.

my support for the translations nearly vanished... Luckily I still have support. Perhaps there are some days in which we have no new translated pages, but then it happends that lots of pages appear all of the sudden. SO we are going fine. Furthermore, I have some hollidays now, so I will have time to translate myself.

I am glad to tell you that thanks to erossetto's host, we have the Spanish forum on line.
The adress is http://foro.doom9.net/ (thanks, Doom9).
At the moment the forum is fully funtional (we hope so, hehe), but we are looking for moderators. So if you speak Spanish and know something about any of the topics in the Spanish forum, let me know.

I am sorry but all previus data was erased, so if you where registered in the test version, you have to register again.

It's a shame that Forum remains Forum in German ;-)
So we can't have that forum domain like you with foro.doom9.net ...

Anyway, we'll soon have doom9.de and then forum.doom9.de should do the job just fine... but I hope Doom9 will keep the redirects alive (german.doom9.org/net).

they're not redirects ;) though I have already told that the italian team I like linking to the urls I have control over more.. of course that has advantages and disadvantages. but you'll need the .org vhost anyways for your downloads ;) btw.. did you get the last mail? you put up the team logo so I suppose you have.. waiting for an answer.

@epere: if you want I can explain you a few things we do internally here.. moderation rules, signup procedures, that kind of stuff that you don't readily see as a regular member. could help make your life easier with the new forum.

well, in the German and Spanish case, you're right... perhaps I just mixed some things up because we're getting doom9.de soon...
But I'll prefer Leffe because puretec has a 15 GB traffic limit per month (which is sufficient for now, but the site will attract more and more visitors)... so german.doom9.org is not a redirect, yep. :)

I meant with redirect that you could link to doom9.de instead (but not now, it's still in the process of registering by Psydon... denic take their time), but I'd love to let it look more "official" and thus keep the doom9 subdomains :D. This could be reflected by a site design like yours however with "german.doom9.org" and "doom9.de" in the top frame.

concerning that mail... I'll mail back 'cause this is private stuff ;)
