registry settings causing CCE to fail?

anyone find that CCE (2.64) works fine for a few weeks and then suddenly doesnt? it used to work fine for me but all it does now is show the transcoding window w/o actually encoding anything. uninstalling and reinstalling CCE doesnt work. this has happened before, and i fixed it by formatting my computer and doing a clean install, but i don't want to go through that process again. i think it must be some registry setting(s) caused by another program. tmpgenc, vfapi, dvd2avi, dvd2svcd..... i can't figure out what it is.

Seems your 30 day trial has expired, you will have to purchase it to keep it working.

yes I have the same problem. I formatted my drive then slowly installing my programmes, 2.64 was working a dream,then this happened.
Gone back to 2.50
