I have only just aquired this problem after a re format of my hard drive......when i try to play any of my .avi's in any of the players the full screen display is grainy....just like the photoshop effect for pictures but on my movie.
The picture is fine if I run it in the small window.
Any ideas
I reinstalled all my original graphics card drivers and codecs, and all the usual tweaks and fiddles.
DVD's play ok.
Any help would be appreciated thanks.

458 mb RAM
64 MB Nvidia Graphics
Windows XP Pro
