Hallo
since i´ve bought a defekt RAM-Module the DVD2AVI doesn´t start with many DVD´s.
Before this time i´ve made almost 50 backups of my DVD´s, without problems.
But now only 5 of 10 copy´s will start, the others will hang up DVD2AVI.
I wanted to make a bug report but i´ve get the error message "cannot"
open DVD2Avi projekt file.d2v" (and this file is empty).
If I close it the program continous until CCE starts and now I get the
messages like "576*26 is not supported".
I´ve made a complete new Windows98se on my PC (but I have the same problems
under Win2K) and I´ve got a new RAM - but nothing works
So I decided to make this RAM slower in the BIOS, without success
Can anyone help me, please ?!?!? ;-(

My PC:

MSI KT7-266 R
AMD Athlon 1300 (overclocked to 10,5 *133 =1330)
256/512 MB Ram (Micron, Avance/Kingston - only one Dimm at a time)
NVidia GeForce2 TI
Realtek 8139 Network Card
Creative Soundblaster Live
Enermax 431W
Toshiba SD-M 1612 DVD
Teac CDR512
3 Maxtor 80GB HDD (two older ones and a brand new)
Typhoon TV Card
Windows 98 second edition and windows2K SP1
DVD2SVCD1.09b2 and 105b4, CCE250 and 262 all with standart issues(??), but
15 sec overlap, CBR/VBR (just how I want it, but normally I tried both when the DVD2Avi doesnt start)and 800 MB per CD, thats it.
And I have to say that I´m staying online (DSL) while ripping (but it wasn´t a problem since my new RAM)

Some of the DVD which won´t be backuped
- meet the parent (meine Braut, ihr Vater und ich)
- Leon the profi (Leon, der Profi)
- primal fear
(all in German)

The last DVD´s iI could rip
-Frequency
-8 mm
-Wild things
(in German)

Thanks for all

and excuse my very bad english

I don't know if your problem is really related to your hardware but in any case first try to get your CPU to normal speed again (if that is really overclocked). By overclocking not only your CPU runs at higher frequency but also your PCI bus, your RAM and most worse your IDE controllers.

Just a proposal.
