I have read the guide. Searched the forums. And i'm loosing all my hair.

I have installed AVISYNTH.

I created a DVD2AVI project using an .m2v file ripped using smartripper. I then convert it with VFAPI. I then have a movie.avs containing

LoadPlugin("F:\WINNT\system32\mpeg2dec.dll")
mpeg2source("I:\FUTURAMA_DISC_2\ep1\DVD\ep1.d2v")
ResampleAudio(44100)

When I load into CCE 2.62.01.01 i get the error This is not an AVI file!!!

Please help before i'm completely bald

So what was the issue?

I can't see what the problem was but the only thing I can perhaps suggest is Propecia and Rogaine - help you with the hair:)

I was getting an error loading the avs file. I then noticed you could load the avi file as well. So i did that. The AVS file played fine in Windows Media Player

Use vfapi-converter to create a fake avi from the file.
