Scenerio: Rip four separate 25 minute TV episodes from a single DVD using DVD2SVCD 1.0.9 Build 3 (Rip, then batch process later).

What happens: The first three rip fine, using internal routines, but the fourth does not rip properly and gives a very small VOB file which takes only a few seconds to produce.

Also tried: Using V-strip, instead of internal routines. This produces the VOB, but also includes some of the menu item from the DVD menu in that VOB. This produces an out of synch final product.

I don't believe I had this problem on prior versions of DVD2SVCD. The DVDs are Twilight Zone vols 1-6. I think this may be a bug. Thanks in advance.

I dont know if you closed down D2S when you were doing the ripping. I noticed that when you are doing batch file ripping then for some reason every once in a while it will mess up when you are tring to rip the DVD. If you close it down and then open it up again it should rip with no problem. If you still have problems then you can try smartripper. Just keep in mind that if you use smartripper there is a chance that the auido and the video will be out of sync.

yes, I always close the program down, then start back up before I rip a new program...

Did you try it with Smart Ripper? Let me know if that works.

Sure, smartripper works (as v-strip does), but still gives ma an extra VOB with some DVD title frames on it. I fixed it by deleting the unwanted vob. These may be difficult DVDs to rip. I noticed that the vob scheme was not the same as in later discs (eg. in later discs each episode has its own vts structure, in the earlier discs, they are all in vts01.)
