Glitch when editing mpeg in TMPGenc

When i take 2 different vcd files and try to merge them and cut some parts of it, i get some glitch in the audio track.

Im planning to buy a camcorder and maybe want to edit some mpegs files or somethings.. but the glitch thing is soooo annoying...

Any clue why it does glitch? TIA

I'm really only guessing, but is it possible that TMPGEnc is editing your MPEG by jumping to the nearest whole GOP, thus leaving a disparity between the editing of the Video track and the editing of the Audio track??
