Cannot import mpg in tmpgenc

Hi,
I had recorded a film with my satellite-receiver to harddisk and now I have a mpg-stream.
This stream is out of dvd-size, and therefore I would like to reencode it to 752*576 with tmpgenc.
The problem is, that everytime when I try to open the film tmpgenc tells me:"Cannot open"
Even when I divide the film in a audio/video stream I cannnot import the m2v-file.
What´s wrong with my system or what for dll´s are missing?
(I already changed the priority for the direct show multimedia file reader,no effect)

Do NOT capture to MPEG format, because there will be more errors/problems. Instead capture to PVA, then use PVAstrumento to convert the transport stream into a program stream (easy: just use PVAstrumento's standard settings).

You can either demux into an m2v and an audio file, or create an mpg program stream. I use the demux method. You can open the PVAstrumento corrected files in TMPGEnc.
