I havent found an option to do this but is there a general switch you can add in windows xp that will start a program in cpu priority realtime?
I need this because otherwise the picture will stutter on my computer
and I have tried and found out that realtime cpu priority will give me absolutly beautifull fluent video and that is what I want so please if there is an switch I can add when I start a program that will force that mode?

Best Regards

ALT+CTRL+DEL pops up the task manager.
then u switch to the processes tab, right click on bplay.exe process -> set priority -> <your preffered priority>

Thats how I do it now, but what I want is something that automates this process so that I dont have to do it everytime I start the player.

but thanks for your answer anyway.

Take a look at your WinXP Help, perhaps there is a command 'start' (i'm on win2k).

This should give you the opportunity to let programs run with your desired priority.

Here is also a description of the command: http://www.ss64.demon.co.uk/nt/start.html

I've read somewhere, that if you want to start a program in realtime you have to have administrator rights.

Trust me I have, it is my home computer and there is only admin acount. nothing else.
