40 Euro / months flatrate for a 2048/2048 line .... thats enough for a small server i should guess. Unfortuntely only around Mannheim and even there not in every village.
It clearly says :
Keine Traffic-Begrenzung = no traffic limitation
but it seems to be only for non-commercial use ( private customers ) ... if we just had a few of those as users on p2p :D !!
Thought i let you know ...

I live in Mannheim (I study here) and my flat is directly at the Marktplatz (in der Fußgängerzone = pedestrian precinct). I think you canīt live more central than that (when I look out of my window I can see the MVV building ca. 100 meters away from me (MVV=provider of this flatrate)). Now the interesting part: This area of Mannheim isnīt supplied!!!! (believe it or not!)
BTW: This internet access is via the power supply system (for those who didnīt know)

Shared Line Verfahren, d.h. ein Wohnblock teilt sich eine Anbindung(in diesem Fall 2 Mbit/s)
so the bandwidth is not available for a single user. i would hate to share with a few guys like myself... ;)
hmmm... what will stop people to share internally and pay only once? - still sounds like a good deal... until another provider's bankruptcy. :D

i would hate to share with a few guys like myself... ;) Hey TheWEV, stop using p2p too much and give us more of GKnot :D :D !! Just kidding of course ... you know you have my unlimited admiration for this wonderful program ! Cant wait for next release ...
hmmm... what will stop people to share internally and pay only once? Nothing ! In fact somebody told me sales of wireless LAN cards have tripled In Germany since DSL flatrate is widely available :D !
still sounds like a good deal... until another provider's bankruptcy. MVV bancrupt ? If i am not mistaken they are part of RWE ( now E-ON ? ), one of the biggest energy suppliers in Europe ! Very unlikely to happen mate ;) !
