cut an ogm file

hi,

is there a solution to keep everything BUT a part of a mixed ogm file ? (to give an example in cool edit i can highlight a part of my wav file, press delete, and save what's still there)

Not ATM. There is definitely a lack of editing software such as VirtualDub - actually: am I aware of any other ? No. - to manipulate your OGG/OGM streams as you used to with AVIs.
Koepi the author of OggMux which is based on the DirectShowFilters and GraphEdit once asked Avery Lee (VDub) for support but a reply is still to come.
The only way for now is to demux your AV to probably Ogg Vorbis and XVid/DivX to process them seperately.:(
