I searched the forums but nothing came up.

I do know how to do avi from nandub, but this is my first attempt with svcd.

Thanks

Download Tmpgenc at http://www.tmpgenc.net
It's the same for mpg what Virtualdub is for avi.

I have tmpgenc and used it for the svcd creation with dvd2svcd and it created a fine mpg.

But I cannot seem to figure out how to make the sample. I didn't see anything about it in the guides.

I keep getting "mpg not supported".

Can you give me the newbie quick guide to making a sample?

Thanks again.

Use tmpgencs MPEG tools to cut out the piece of movie you want.
