Well does it or is it just for CCE? I would try but I don't feel like entering 300 settings to find out not.

Of course they do :D
In fact if you encode your dv material also with "highest" motion search precision youŽll get more superior material than it is ever possible with cce.

hi
i always use mb1`s interlaced matrice with tmpeg for interlaced dv source....and the result(half d1 resolution +4000 bitrate)is excellent....

Thanks sooo much. Is there a faster way to enter the numbers? Or do you have to do each one at a time.

Edit the TMPGEnc.ini (cut and paste) like shown in this thread:

So you easily can transport your matrices from version to version.

Okay I must be retarted, I tried to cut and paste over and over and the matrices don't show up in the program. What I'm I doing wrong? I save as ini and no dice? help

Yes I am retarted or too drunk last night when I was trying to do the .ini insertion. It works now because I had the program running when I was editing the file...dumb. All is fine now thanks.

Cut and past in the .ini file in the TMPGE folder over the old [tools.QuantizeMatrix]make sure TMPGE is not running.

Thanks Buzzcut, sorry for my question again, How I can use it with CCE instead of TMPGENC?
I just saw the mb1's comment on another thread, said:

Cause my dvd player can't support >3.000 kbps, can I use it to encode to CVD at bitrate around 2.000 - 2.500 kbps. My source is interaced mini DV (from digital camcoder). Which matrix is the best in CCE for this kind of home video (fast motion)

you can try to use it..
for different matrices with cce search fot tsunamis cce patcher,and when you using cce2.5 you have to get restream too,,

I paste in the .ini file save close open tmpg and still get only the default what the hell am I doing wrong.

nothing magical or mysterious! if you copy the above matrices onto your tmpgenc.ini, be careful, there's a SPACE at the end of each line, you have to take it out before it will work!:D
