I am getting these error messages after I rip a DVD with DVD Decrypter and try loading the VIDEO_TS.ifo file and hitting the PLAY button.
-No valid DVD-video volume could be located
-get dvd volume info failed
-get number of chapters failed

Any help?

Try using SmartRipper as Derrow recomends this one in all his guides. Available through the Doom9 software section.
Happy Ripping

I had this same problem until I installed WinDVD. I think Infoedit uses it to play the video

The only error (of the three that you mention) that I have run into is "No valid DVD-video volume could be located."

What stopped this error from showing up is to simply have a DVD in your DVD drive when you use IfoEdit to play the VOBs that you have ripped to your hard drive. Any DVD will do too. Sounds weird as hell, but this has been working for me.

Also, I have often just chosen to ignore the error too, since IfoEdit is still able to play the VOBs after the error message.
