Ripping scratched dvd

I've got a slightly scractched dvd of from dusk till dawn. When I play it on a dvd player there is one part of the movie where the video corrupts for about a second where it is badly damaged. I tried to rip it to my hard drive to make a DivX film and the ripper won't go beyond the point where its marked. I've tried both smartripper and vstrip. Are there any rippers out there that will simply ignore this error and rip the rest of the film instead of aborting?

thanks for the suggestion, just tried it an after about quarter of an hour it gets past the bad frames :) I got a few seconds of corrupted footage but i don't mind...
